Ingredients
Idli Rice - 2 Cups.
Sorakkai/Bottle Gourd (Chopped) - 2 Cups.
Red Chillies - 5 - 6.
Curry leaves - 1 Sprig.
Salt - to taste.
Method
- Soak idli Rice for 4 hours.
- Grind sorakkai, Red Chillies,Curry leaves & salt to a smooth paste.
- Then add soaked idli Rice, with needed water & Grind into a smooth Paste.
- The Consistency of batter be moderate.
- Fermentation is not necessary. Start Making dosa's once you prepare the batter.
- Heat the tawa,once it is hot, add ladle full of batter to the tawa ,first make outer circle then fill the dosa batter inwards, like we make Rava dosa.
- Drizzle some oil. Once it is cooked,flip the dosa.Remove from tawa when both sides are Cooked.
- Serve hot with palm sugar or Honey or have it as such.
Notes
- you can add chopped onions. chopped coriander leaves to dosa batter.
- you can add spluttered mustard seeds to the batter. it tastes Good.
