Aval More Kali is an Authentic Recipe of Vysyas made using Butter Milk & Poha. This can be had as a Tiffin or Snack recipe.This is a healthy Recipe, you can make it within 20 - 25 minutes. we also call it as Aval Kali. This is a Tangy Poha fudge Recipe.Poha rice is light and easy to digest.It is a good source of instant energy as it is rice based.I learnt this Recipe from my Grand Mother.

Serves:4
Ingredients
Poha - 1 cup.
Sour Butter Milk - 1 + 1/2 Cup.
Red Chillies - 2.
Green Chillies - 2.
Salt - as Needed.
To Temper
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp.
Chana dal - 1 tsp.
urad dal - 1 tsp.
Curry leaves - 1 Sprig.
Hing - a Generous Pinch.
oil - to fry.
Preparation
Soak the Poha in Butter Milk for half an hour.
Method
Grind Soaked Poha,Green Chillies & salt into a smooth Paste with needed water. Let the Consistency be like dosa Batter Consistency.
Heat the kadai, add oil, add mustard seeds.When Mustard seeds splutters add chanadal,urad dal,curry leaves, & hing.
When dal's turns Golden Brown colour,Pour the batter & keep stirring continuously.
Cook in Medium low flame. Once it leaves the sides of pan & form a Whole Mass, Switch off the flame.
Grease the plate with oil, then spread the cooked kali. Once it is warm cut into desired shape. Serve hot or chill. you can have it as such.
Notes
- Always use Sour Butter Milk for best Result.
- you can make kali using Red Poha also.
- Touch the cooked kali with wet hands, if it is not sticky. it is cooked well, else Cook for some more time.
