Ingredients
Corn kernels - 3 cups.
water - as needed.
Coconut - 1/4 cup. (Grated)
salt - as needed.
Coriander leaves - For Garnishing.
To Temper
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp.
Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp.
Red chillies - 2.(broken)
Green Chillies - 2.(slit)
Urad dal - 1 tsp.
Curry leaves - 2 sprig.
Hing - a Generous pinch.
Preparation
Remove the Corn kernels & boil it in a water for few minutes till it turns Soft.Then drain it in a colander & keep aside.
Method
- Heat the oil, add mustard seeds,when it splutters, add cumin seeds when it sizzles, add urad dal .
- When dals turns Golden brown colour, add chillies & curryleaves.
- When chillies turns pale,add Cooked corn kernels.
- Saute for few minutes till it moisture goes off.
- Add Grated Coconut, mix well.
- Garnish with Fresh Coriander Leaves.
Notes
- Always Add Fresh Coconut for Good taste.
