Andhra karam podi is an authentic Andhra Recipe, made from Kobbari (Dry Coconut). It pairs with idli, dosa & hot steamed Rice with a dollop of Ghee. you can also spoon this podi on curries like dondakaya vepudu, bendakaya vepudu, vankaya vepudu & so on. Dried coconut has lots of nutrients. It is Good for healthy heart & improves immune system. Now we will see the preparation of Kobbari karam podi.

Ingredients
Kobbari pieces (dry coconut) - 1/2 Cup.
Red Chillies - 10.
Salt - as needed.
sesame seeds - 1 tsp.
curry leaves - 1 Sprig.
Garlic cloves - 3.
oil - 2 tsp.
Preparation
Chop the kobbari into pieces.
Method
Wash the curry leaves, Roast for few seconds in a kadai till moisture goes off.
Then add Red chillies, saute till Red chillies turns its color slightly.
Then add sesame seeds. Switch off the flame. sesame seeds cooks in the heat of kadai.Add salt.
When everything cools down dry grind the ingredients coarsely. Then add peeled Garlic.
Grind it once. Then add kobbari . Grind everything coarsely.
Now kobbari podi is ready.
Store it in air tight container & use it.
Notes
you can pair with idli & dosa.
you can also serve with steamed rice & dollop of Ghee.
