Black Gram Ladoo
Prep Time : 5 min. Ingredients
Black Gram - 1 cup.
Jaggery -1/2 Cup.
de skinned Roasted Peanuts - 2 tbsp.
Ghee - 1/2 Cup.
Preparation
Remove the Skin of Peanuts.
Method
1. Dry Roast the black gram in a kadai, in a medium flame till you get nice aroma from the dal & also it turns crisp.(This is the important step in ladoo preparation.)
2. Dry Roast the Peanuts for a Minute.
3. When it cools down, Grind both black gram & Peanuts in a mixie into a fine powder.
4. Then add jaggery along with it & grind it into a little coarse powder. Transfer it into a mixing bowl.
5. Now melt or warm up the Ghee.
6. Add Ghee to a Ground mixture, little by little . Mix well .
7. Now the mixture turns moist & you could hold balls.
8. Take a lemon sized portion & shape it , into a balls.
9. Repeat for Remaining mixture.
10. Store it in a air tight container for a Week.
Notes
Instead of Roasted Peanuts you can add Roasted channa dal also.
Always use Good quality Ghee for best taste.
