Drumstick Dal
Prep Time : 10 hours. Ingredients
Toor dal - 1/2 cup.
Onion - 1.
Tomato - 1.
Drumstick - 2.
Garlic - 4.
Ginger - 1/4 inch
Green chillies - 2.
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp.
Chilli Powder - 1/2 tsp.
Salt - As needed.
To Temper
Curry leaves - 1 Sprig.Coriander leaves - few (for Garnishing).
oil - to fry.
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp.
Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp.
Hing - a Generous Pinch.
Preparation
- Chop the drumstick to approximately to 2.5 inches.
- Chop Onion, tomato,Garlic , Ginger & Green chilly .
1. Pressure Cook the Toor dal till it turns Soft by adding Needed water with pinch of Turmeric.
2. Take small Pressure cooker, add chopped onion,Ginger,Garlic,Green chillies,tomato, drumstick, Cooked dal, turmeric powder,chilli powder,salt with needed water & pressure cook for one whistle.
you can add one Red chilly also while making Tadka, for more spicy.
