Koova Halwa / Arrow root Halwa

Koova Halwa is an authentic Vysyas Recipe, made with Koova flour & Sugar. This Sweet Recipe can be made in jiffy. This Halwa is made during Diwali's & Birthday's. Even if Guest arrives, it is made in no time. The texture of Halwa is Glossy & shiny.




Koova Halwa /Arrow Root Halwa 

 Prep Time :  5   hours. 
Cook Time : 10   minutes.

Ingredients 
 
Koova flour / Arrow Root flour -  1 cup.
Sugar - 1 cups.
Water - 3 cups.
Ghee - 3 tbsp.

Method
  • Take Thick bottomed kadai, add koova flour, Sugar & water.

  • Mix well, without any lumps. Keep it on stove top.
  • Keep Flame to Medium. Keep stirring till it is thick & it turns Glossy & shiny. Finally it becomes a whole Mass. 
  • Add 2 tbsp of Ghee. Give a Mix. 
  • Grease a plate with Ghee, & Pour Halwa over it & spread it evenly.


  • once it is warm, draw lines into desired shape & serve. 

Notes
  • you can mix, 1.5 cup water & 1 .5  cup Milk also, to make this Halwa  for different taste.
