Paneer 65 - Paneer 65 Recipe

Paneer 65 is a classic appetizer, made with Spicy  Paneer toasted in tawa till crisp, then shallow fried with some Spices. It can be served as a Starter, appetizer, Snack or any accompaniment.

Ingredients

Onion - 2.
Green chillies - 2.
Ginger - 1 inch (grated).
Garlic - 5.
curry leaves - few.
fennel seeds - 1/4 tsp.
mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp.
oil - as needed.

To Marinate 

Paneer - 200 gms.(cubed)
Corn flour - 2 tsp.
Maida - 2 tsp.
chilli powder - 1 tsp.
Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tsp.
cumin - 1 tsp.
curd - 2 tsp.
salt - as needed.

Preparation

Take a Mixing Bowl, add cornflour,Maida,chilli powder,Ginger Garlic Paste,cumin seeds, curd, salt & add little water & bring it to Bajji batter consistency. Add Cubed Paneer & Mix Gently.



  • Let in Marinate for 20 minutes.




Method 

  • In a heavy bottomed pan, add few drops of oil, when it is hot place  marinated paneer, one by one.
  •  Gently cook in a Medium low flame till it turns Golden then flip on other side. Cook till it turns Golden on both sides. 


  • Remove Toasted paneer, from pan. 
  • Add few drops of oil, add mustard seeds, when it splutters. add fennel seeds & curry leaves.
  • When it sizzles, add Garlic. Saute till it turns Golden.
  • Then add Ginger, Chopped onion.
  • Saute till onions turns Pink.
  • Then add fried Paneer, saute for few seconds,  till everything mixes.
  • Now Paneer 65 is ready. Serve hot. 
Notes
  • serve with ketchup or you can have as such.
