Maida Burfi is an Easy Burfi Recipe, made with All Purpose flour. It just melts in Mouth. Even the beginners can try this Burfi. Maida is sauted in Ghee till aromatic & mixed with sugar syrup,then cooked without fire. I made & Given to Neighbours also.Everyone enjoyed it. As Diwali is Near by I made this Burfi. This Could be made within 20 minutes.
Prep Time : 5 min.
Heat the Pan,melt the Ghee,when Ghee is hot, add Maida .
Keep the flame to Medium low,saute till it turns aromatic.

Ingredients
Maida - 1 Cup.
Sugar - 2 Cups.
Water - 1 Cup
Ghee - 1/2 Cup.
food colour - a Generous Pinch.
Vanilla Essence - 3 to 4 drops.
Method
- In another heavy bottomed Pan,(Preferably Nonstick) add sugar & water.
- Let the Sugar completely dissolves & it should get one string Consistency. (check the Picture, it should form one string between your fore finger & thumb,if you pull apart).
- At this stage add food colour & vanilla Essence.
- Now add fried Maida. Switch off the flame. yes you should put off the fire.
- Keep on stirring till it is thick in consistency & it turns Glossy. Then it starts leaving the sides of pan, it is right Stage. Now Pour the Mixture to the Greased plate.Then level it with the knife.
- When it is little warm, draw lines. When it is cooled completely remove from plate.
