Masala Pasta is an Indian based Italian pasta Recipe made with cooked pasta tossed in Tomato Sauce with some Spice Powders. My husband is a big fan of this Masala Pasta.Weekly once i make this pasta.

Ingredients
Pasta of your choice- 2 cups.
Onion - 2.
Juicy Tomatoes - 3.
Garlic - 4
chilli powder - 3/4 tsp.
Coriander Powder - 1 tsp.
Salt - for taste.
cilantro - 2 tbsp(chopped).
Olive oil - 1 tbsp.
oregano - 1/2 tsp.(optional)
Preparation
Cook the pasta, as per instructions, I took a large wide vessel and allowed water to boil, when water water starts boiling, add pasta, allow it to to cook, till pasta is soft and firm to bite.(u could check it by having a bite).Then drain it in colander and kept it aside.
Blanch the tomatoes:Allow the water to boil, in a vessel, when water starts boiling, add tomatoes, cook it, till you get crack in tomatoes, when it cools down, remove the skin of tomotoes, then grind it in a mixie into a smooth paste.Now tomato Puree is ready.
Method
Heat the oil, add Garlic, when it turns Golden Brown, add onions,when it turns golden brown colour, add tomato puree, chilli powder,coriander powder, salt, and chopped cilantro.Mixwell.
When puree starts boiling add cooked pasta, Mix well. Garnish with oregano. Serve Hot.Now Simple yummy tasty pasta is ready to Serve.

Notes
- Cook the pasta till al dente (Cook pasta, with firm to bite).
- I used the Pasta Type farfalle, you could use any pasta type such as penne, Rotini,cellentani, route(cartwheels) and so on. Farfalle are best suited to cream and tomato dishes.
- you can also add 1 carrot, 1/4 capsicum & hand ful of Green peas after adding onions, cook till soft then add tomato puree.
- Always choose juicy tomatoes to get better taste.
- Adding cliantro gives extra flavour to pasta.
- Serve the pasta hot.
