Masala Dosa is
Stuffed mainly with potato and fresh Green peas. Potato can be used to
relieve High Blood Pressure due to tension, indigestion etc, due to
abundance of vitamin-C and B in it.Peas flaunt twice the protein of most
vegetables, so they're the ideal substitute for fattier protein fare, providing an excellent strategy for controlling our fat intake.onion is also a good source of fiber and vitamin c. Now we learn Masala Dosa.
Dosa batter U can use Idli batter (that i mentioned in Idli dosa batter Recipe)
Add Some water to the batter to make Easy and Thin Spread.

oil - to drizzle.
Stuffing
Potato - 3 (medium size) .
Fresh peas - 1/4 cup.
Onion - 2 (chopped).
Green chillies - 3 - 4.
Chilli powder - 1 + 1/4 tsp.
Mustard seeds - 1/4 tsp.
channa dal - 1/2 tsp.
turmeric - 1/4 tsp
Ginger - 1 inch.
tamarind - very small amla size ball.
oil - to fry

Preparation
- Boil and mash the potatoes,keep it aside.
- prepare tamarind extract.
Method of stuffing preparation
- Heat the oil in a pan, add mustard seeds,when it splutters add, channa dal, green chillies, chopped onions, saute it ,add grated ginger, saute till Onions turns golden brown.
- Add green peas saute for few minutes. Add little water cook, till it becomes soft.
- Add turmeric,chilli powder and salt.Mix well. Then Add more water according to consistency.
- When water starts boiling,add smashed potato stir well,finally add tamarind water.
- let it cook in moderate flame for few minutes till gets thick consistency.Finally Garnish with cilantro.
- Delicious masala is ready.
- Spread the batter on a tawa,like we make normal dosa.drizzle some oil.
- When dosa is cooked, release the dosa from the tawa.Then spoon it with masala, and fold both the sides, as shown in the picture.
- You can also have this stuffing as side dish for chapathi,roti & poori.
