Onion tomato thokku preparation is very instant and Easy recipe. It goes very well with chapati, idli,dosa chapathi,paratha's and roti varieties.Onions are good sources of several vitamins, and in particular vitamin A, vitamin C and vitamin E.onion has folic content in it, which regulates some system in body. Tomatoes are a rich source of potassium; Tomatoes work against impotency and help increase the sperm count. Tomatoes are powerful blood purifiers and clear up urinary tract infections.Now we prepare simple onion tomato thokku.

tomato - 3.
chilli powder - 1 tsp.
salt - needed
oil - to fry.
mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp.
Preparation
Chop the onions and tomatoes finely.
Method
- Heat the oil, add mustard seeds when it splutters, add onion saute well till it turns golden brown.
- Now add tomatoes saute well till mushy,add chilli powder and salt.
- saute well till oil seperates and it comes in a form of thokku.
- It goes very well with chapati, idli and dosa.
Notes
- Sauting the onions till golden brown, and sauting tomatoes till mushy is an important step in this thokku.
